About Epstein Gacha
Mission
Epstein Gacha is a public awareness tool built around the publicly released Epstein Files. By turning document metadata into collectible cards, the project makes a dense government archive more accessible and encourages people to engage with primary-source material they might otherwise never encounter.
How It Works
- Open card packs to discover documents from the archive.
- Each card represents real metadata from a released file.
- Build your collection and track which documents you have found.
- Explore the full archive at jmail.world.
- Explore the Discover page to see connections between people across your collection.
Discover
The Discover page lets you explore the people behind the documents. As you collect cards, you'll build dossiers on individuals, uncover connections between them, and see events unfold on a timeline. Every pack you open could reveal a new person or a new link in the network.
Card Rarity
Every card is assigned a rarity tier based on the significance of the underlying document. Rarity is determined by a combination of factors including relevance scores, document type, and the people involved.
Every 10th pack guarantees at least one Evidence-tier or higher card.
Agent-Built Decks
Point an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) at epsteingacha.com/llms.txt and ask it to research a topic. It can explore the full dataset and produce a deck you can import — no account needed.
Data Source
All data is sourced from jmail.world, which hosts the publicly released Epstein Files from the US House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
Support the Project
Epstein Gacha is free forever with no ads or paywalls. If you'd like to help cover hosting and development costs, you can support us on Ko-fi.
Privacy
No accounts are required. All collection data is stored locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
Ethical Framework
- Cards display metadata only — no raw document content is shown.
- Content warnings flag sensitive material before you view it.
- Appearance in released documents should not be interpreted as evidence of guilt or wrongdoing.
- The project is free forever with no paywalls or loot-box monetization.
FAQ
Isn't this gamifying tragedy?
Yes, and that tension is intentional. The Epstein Files are one of the most significant public document releases in recent history, and almost nobody has read them. They're dense, disorganized, and buried across government archives. The gacha format exists because it works — it gives people a reason to look at documents they'd otherwise never open.
We don't display raw document content. Cards show metadata only — titles, dates, people, document types — with links to the full source. Sensitive material is flagged with content warnings. The game is a door to primary sources, not a substitute for them.
We understand this format isn't for everyone, and we respect that reaction.
Why are you making money off this?
We're not. Epstein Gacha is free with no ads, paywalls, or loot-box monetization. There is an optional Ko-fi link to help cover hosting and development costs. No one is paid a salary. If the project ever generates revenue beyond operating costs, we'll be transparent about it.
What gives you the right to rank these documents?
Card rarity is determined algorithmically from document metadata— relevance scores, document type, number of named individuals, and whether the document appeared in court proceedings. The tier names (Junk Mail through Exhibit A) describe the documents, not the people in them. A “Junk Mail” card really is a promotional email. An “Exhibit A” card is in the top 1% by significance.
The ranking reflects document significance, not personal culpability. No editorial judgment is made about the guilt or innocence of any individual.
Couldn't this be used to harass people named in the documents?
The documents are already public — anyone can search them on jmail.world today. This site adds no new information. Cards display only metadata and link to original sources.
That said, we take misuse seriously. Deck descriptions and titles are user-generated and could be used irresponsibly. If you see the site being used to target or harass an individual, please contact us at contact@epsteingacha.com.
Why does this need to exist when jmail.world already has the documents?
jmail.world is an invaluable archive. It's also 3.2 million documents with no guided entry point. Most people don't know where to start, so they don't start at all.
Epstein Gacha is a front door, not a replacement. Every card links back to the original source. The goal is to get more eyes on documents that are public in theory but invisible in practice.
